My iqama will expire on June 28 and I still have 1yr left in my contract but then my employer inform me she didnt want to renew. And I want to find a new employer but I am scared if I found a new employer then my current employer renew or give me final exit.. I dont want to back home.What should I do?

I have a contract with a company for two years but unfortuately they have not applied for my iqama..I have been working without iqama for 6 months..So can I transfer to another company without the approval of current employer and if that is possible my new employer will be made to pay for my non renewal of iqama with my previous company???

@Jericho Jane as far as i know working for 3 months without iqama will be able to transfer to another company without the approval of the employer.

Is it mandatory for iqama to be expired for MORE THAN A MONTH for local transfer?  OR transfer is possible just after expiry of iqama? Please advise.

    If your iqama is expired, so your transfer will be completed without the approval of your current employer, regardless if they have QIWA or not.Soon you will accept the contract from new employer, it will show the status : pending in absher for the approval from the new employer.Good Luck !!!

If iqama has been expired for more than a month, then one can get TRANSFR otherwise NO. Is that true? Please advise.

    It is not necessary for transfer completion if iqama has expired more than a month - the transfer can be completed after minimum three days of iqama expiry and no condition for current employer to have QIWA

Can he take transfer by the next day on 16th September 2024 ???
