is resignation advisable before iquama transfered to new employer

Dear all,

I got a job offer from another employer.My new employer suggesting me do resign from the current employer and they will do iquama transfer.Is that safe  for me.can anyone advise what would be the better procedure.

Kindly advise me as it is very urgent

steps:
- qiwa registration.
- new employer submit job offer in qiwa.
- accept the offer.
- talk to your HR if contract expired no worries, if not its a NO most of the time.
- if all things in the qiwa is on process, update the new employer.
- lastly, very important.... pray for the best.
