Hello.

How are you.

I wish you're good.

I want to know about syphilis.

I saw your article and your comment here in expat. I'm Indonesian and  I previously worked in Saudi Arabia and returned to my country. While in Indonesia, I underwent a blood screening. It turned out I was infected by a Saudi man in Saudi Arabia. Will this pose a problem when obtaining an iqamah (residence permit) for a residency permit?

Because I have to return to Saudi Arabia due to a visa and a job offer there. I have also undergone 30 days of treatment using the antibiotic doxycycline twice a day. Will this be a problem because there must be antibodies that give a positive result even though I have been declared cured of the VDRL infection?

I'm taking the antibiotic doxycycline from the doctor and it's been confirmed that I'm getting better and making progress. I can't take penicillin because I have a hereditary allergy from my father.

Can anyone give me some information about this? I'm about to leave. But I plan to tell my boss the day after tomorrow. I'll send the proof of the inspection to my boss and explain it in detail.
