Hello Everyone!

Hope youre having a nice day. Just want to ask for your guidance with my current dilemma. I already have a job offer and a working visa for KSA. But due to Ramadan and vacation season, my working visa will most likely expire before all the documents/process are finished and be allowed to travel.

May i ask if there鈥檚 a way to extend the initial 90-day work visa validity? If not, whats my other option/s?

I believe, If they initiated the process of getting your iqamah you will be fine as far as far as the legality is concerned - but without an iqamah you can鈥檛 travel. Inquire with your employer to be sure

Oh, i thought the iqama can only be processed once im already there.

Sorry if its confusing for you. I already have a working visa but not yet allowed to travel to saudi since there are still some processes needed to be finished here in my home country. And by the look of things, my visa will meet the 90 days validity before i can even travel to saudi.

May I know what procedures you are referring to? The usual process of all the required documents will only take you less than a month, that is if you are really decided to work in KSA. Unless you still have no passport which I also doubt since this is the basic requirement asked by recruitment agencies. If not possible then try to be honest with your employer if you can't make it to the 90 days period.

Hi there! Yeah recent development with this is that the saudi agency said that there was an issue on my working visa and Polo docs so theyre gonna issue a new working visa for us. Dont know if thats normal or possible.

Yes, it is possible. It could be due to your credential or qualifications which did not match with the profession stated on the work visa. Just wait while your agency is fixing the issue as it will be more complicated if this problem exist after your arrival in KSA.
