Rav 4 or Fortuner ??
How can both be the same ?? Are you talking about the used or 2nd hand cars ????
And if thats the case and you are getting FORTUNER at a comparable rate to RAV, then there is some serious problem with the fortuner !!!

no the brand new ones dude !!! fortuner 2012 GX1 2.7 manual starts from SR 88400 and rav 4 sports 2012 automatic 5dr with SR 83400 makes them equal priced..
Speak clearly then and people will understand DUH!!! You already know it is practically the same car unless of course this is you not speaking properly again and saying that "both are almost same" means something entirely different. Perhaps we must learn to read between the lines and know that you are looking at brand new cars and you want to know the specs and drive quality and tyre size and thickness of dirt on the fender. Sorry I cannot understand how this could possibly misunderstood.
A question please (or two) ... Are you an actual doctor and if so what kind?

Don't know why you would want either really both as big as a postage stamp may aswell buy a camry or if you want a 4x4 get the bigger and much nicer prado and if you have pennies to spare a Cruiser. Sequoia is not so nice personnaly but they seem to be popular out here

prado touches 120 plus mark.. cruiser way above.. don't wanna go 100k plus at the moment.. and as far as camry is concerned i guess BOTH are better than camry at least.. avalon is a nice option though..

by the way rav 4 is on lease too at SR1600/month offer.. still i would prefer full payment cash !

If family comfort is of top priority, both are bad.
Fortuners (till 2011) models were literally a roof mounted onto the lugguage carrying truck And interior is horribly discomforting. The same goes for RAV4, try driving it for 10 minutes and you'll know.
I read somewhere that Sequoia production had been stopped.

and alright then lets do it sportage vs fortuner vs rav 4 ! what do you say now..

Don't underrate Camry mate. Remember: Camry is Camry. It's still one of the best sedans.
Comparing it to crossovers (RAV4) or SUVs (Fortuner) is like comparing oranges to apples.

Sportage? Sorry, but Kia has never been my cup of tea. The same goes for other Korean brands. Let someone else help
There have been some problems with Fortuner.
I would therefore recommend that you avoid the Fortuner.

what kind of problems? mechanical errors?
The car has a design problem relating to safety.
There have been recalls of the fortuner in many countries and 2007/2008 model in KSA. It is built on a pick-up chassis.
The Fortuner is bigger than RAV 4, but the RAV 4 has more favourable reviews and is definately a better drive.

Mabrook and All the Best bro. Drive safe.
thanks all.. although i really feel it some what the same in ride as my hospital owned toyota hiace used to take us to seminars occasionally lol
@DrHassanMalik
Kindly share your experience of owning a Toyota Fortuner. Elaborate on pros and cons. Do you recommend it.
Thanks
DrHassanMalik wrote:keeping the price tag in view, both are almost same..
I'd rather recommend Ford Explorer instead

Mabrook!
bro the experience is just what i could rate "not very bad" as i feel the 4x4 safari is hardly posible on it. got stuck atlst three times in one trip.. and even inside the city its not v comfortable.. dont know why but i feel like i am travelling in my office van. it has the same ride upto some extent. not recomended if u have budget of prado or land cruiser then go for that.. i feel even rav4 would have been a beter feel.. but mechaniclay its sound.. obv because its new..
