Iqama status suspended

I am facing a problem.

I terminate my contract on qiwa before 8 months now I want to take a transfer in another company,its a freelancer visa.But unfortunately my iqama status changer to "SUSPENDED FOR WORK"  and the new company cannot make a transfer request.My sponser told me he is clear and nothing did by him.

Now please some one tell me what should I do? Should I go perosonally to Labour or jawazat office to change the status?
