I'm an American expat who lived in Saudi Arabia for 4 years. Last year, I had to leave the country due to an urgent family emergency. At the time, my employer approved my entry/edit , but I never returned to KSA. Currently, my status is "Absent from work" on the MOI website.

While I have no intentions of returning to my job in Saudi Arabia, I would like to go back to perform Umrah. I'm not certain about my options in this situation.

Additionally, before I left, I completed the final exit procedures for my wife and kids. Would they be able to visit Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah under these circumstances? I'm unsure about the rules and regulations related to this and am looking for some guidance.
