Hello dear Members,

I guess this could be an interesting topic. So I invite the members (both locals & expat) to tell us your favorite places to go out in Salalah?

Which places would you recommend to newcomers? (restaurants, leisure parks, historical venues...)

I am sure your suggestions will be highly valued.

Me again!

1) Cascade Indian = good service, good ambience, good North Indian food
2) Cascade Chinese = very poor service (we went once only on a thursday), decent ambience, food tasty but at what cost???? 25% of our order never arrived on table and we were made to sit n wait for over 2 hrs.
3) Pizza Hut = normal standard pizza hut, good
4) Udupi restaurant = prompt service, tasty south Indian food, decent ambience.
5) Al-Watheeka coffee shop = good fast food.

will add more as i visit them! no driving license yet, so limited mobility

Hi Armand,

U are welcome. I intend to make discussions on Salalah little more lively in here. Coz before I came here just about 2 weeks back, I too was searching this forum for some info, but hardly found much, so decided to do my bit so future expats get something to chew on!
