My employer in Oman recently sent me soft copy of work visa to join the company.

Is their any website to verify the visa online by entering "visa number" and "passport number"?

I tried to verify the visa from "rop.gov.om" website, however, it is asking web application number. On visa copy I have only "visa number". An by entering visa number for "web application number" it shows error and asks "web application number".

I believe this only applies to the visas applied via the online system and enable applicants to check via the same portal.

The work visa in Oman is still not on the online system and hence, you can't check it. However, I am not fully sure and leave it open for experienced people.
