Question: When I lived in Saudi Arabia, you could lease to own a car as an expat.聽 You could also leave the country with it to drive to Bahrain or Qatar, as long as you filed paperwork from the dealer to the police.聽 How does this work in Oman? Can I lease to own a vehicle and drive to UAE? How difficult is it for new expats to get a loan?

Yes, you could do the same like you did in Saudi. You could lease a car and use it as long as you wish, plus cross borders without any hassles, provided the required paperwork is all in order.
