Hi everyone.

I have recently moved to Sohar. Plan to open my restaurant with my business partner here in Sallan area. It will be the first and only place here to serve authentic Chinese food. Looking forward to meeting more people once the restaurant opens (October, inshallah! ).

I like running in my free time. I used to be in a regular training routine in a group. Since I moved here, I have not yet discovered a running group. If you are part of any, please let me know. I'd like to join for some social runs or competitive training. Happy to do some trail running too!

If there is no running group, do you think it's worth to organize one among us who like running? Let me know.

I am from Pakistan.

Recently my husband received a job offer letter for an engineer post but we haven't get the license and visa since almost 3 months.

I need urgent response to my query!

Is there any way to know the reason of delay in visa and license of engineer from ministry of labor?

The employer is just saying that the application is pending but giving no reason of the delay from Ministry of Labor.

Living in Sweden and looking for job in Oman.

Educated in IT, electronics, programming. Worked as server technician, product analyses, project manager, pre-sales, sales, troubleshooter in IT and electronics and more. Worked in 22 companies.

Employed in candela.se hydrofoil electric boats as electrician and boat tester. Build electronics and programming in C. Working experience in XML, Bash, PHP, HTML, Java, C++, C, Basic, Assembler and more.

Worked with Linux, Window, Unix, Mac, firewalls, Cisco and Backup. SMD and soldering experience.

Have replaced 4 car engines, 1 boat engine and several electric boat engines. Schematics and modified cables harness.

Willing relocate to Oman with my wife and daughter. We have DXN business also and offer jobs in DXN as distributor in business and health.

Have made some research and interview and contract is the first start. Can get IDL card for driving in Sweden.

Bank and VISA can be done after contract. Housing is hopefully helped by the company inshAllah.
