Hi! Need advice please!

DaneMom

Hello everyone!  I'm new to the ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ, not new to the area.  We've been living in Jerusalem for two years, but spent two summers here prior to our move.  I'm getting a puppy, and wondered where the "off limits areas" are for dogs.  I know not to go into orthodox villages, but other than that, I could use some advice.  I love to walk, so can I take him on my walks to:
The German Colony?
The Old City?
Ben Yahuda ?
Jaffa Street?
Can we ride the tram?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
Thanks!
Heather

Hello!
You can usually walk a dog anywhere which is not a religious site. I believe you can walk the dog in all those areas.
About the tram, the law says you can take on the tram any dog from any size as long as it's with a leash and restraint (that keeps the mouth closed).
BUT, I hear that with large dogs the officials on the tram sometimes make trouble. only sometimes though.
