Can  you confirm Aadhar is mandatory document for renewal ?  Because one of my friend recently renewed his passport, he told that Aadhar is mandatory document without this they are Not accepting the application

Is it true ?

Not sure, its better you visit them to get things clarified as i mentioned rules keep changing here.

2.  What is the procedure to do change of address in the passport , and what are the documents is necessary ? details are available in ivs website link

3. Is it necessary to add Aadhar card in the application form ? Because my Aadhar card has new address instead of old address (old address in the current passport): Aadhar is not mandatory while applying.

4. Is it possible to keep old address in new passport application ? or advisable ? : It is possible but at times police verification happens at the given address by local police in India

5. How many days need to issue the new passport ? 3 to 4 working days

6. Where is the place in Manama to submit the application ? Bab Al Bahrain

Better complete the application online and then visit the IVS office with copies of the application, photographs, and necessary document in case of address change

In case you have not filled the application online, you will have to wait longer and also pay additional 2BD.

Appreciated and much thankful for your excellent answers.

First of all, the service agent for Indian passport does not satisfied me with correct answers while I was in their office.  Simply answered to me " we don't know "

The service agent asked or tried to collect more money as much as possible which is unfair

Why the Indian embassy did not do service to their citizen directly ? Why they kept service agent ? May be for more collection from innocent people.

Hope the Indian embassy need to start direct service instead of service agent .

It may take a month as police verification will be done at your home address
