Where to stay

peter_0098

My son's just got a job in Bahrain, (he isn't there yet, will be going in September), but we're already planning to go and visit him in the autumn half term holiday. (end Oct / early Nov)

Where is a good place to stay?

I can see there are a couple of resort hotels, but none of them seem to have any good reviews. Has anyone any recommendations?

It will be my partner and I and our 13 yr old daughter.

Ideally on the sea, but failing that, a big pool and a decent hotel.

Thanks for your advice.

Hi and welcome to ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ!
I'd say as everywhere in the worl: all depends on your budget!

Well, I'm not sure I can pay Ritz Carlton prices, but I'm happy to pay up to that sort of range if it's a good place.

I'd say that ideally I just want to be at a good Hotel / Resort, next to the sea, and with a good pool.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks.

Pitty you go only around end of the year, because during summer months most hotels have the summer rates around 45 BD per night!

do you already know which area your son will be staying at? I am working in a hotel here in bahrain and might be able to help you out.

There are plenty of hotels and places to stay in Bahrain, and there are many things todo, there is website called BahrainAdvisor, check it out, it has a list of hotels with locations and some reviews.
