Dual residence Bahrain & KSA

ydnar21

Hi Team,

I'm writing to you today from Bahrain, where I currently hold a residence visa. My company is planning to transfer me to KSA, but we have a concern regarding my wife's visa. She is currently residing with me in Bahrain, and her visa is dependent on mine. Therefore, if I cancel my Bahrain visa to proceed with the transfer, her visa will be automatically canceled as well.

I've inquired about transferring her dependent visa to KSA. However, I was told that dependent visas in KSA are more expensive.

Given this situation, I would like to ask for your expert advice on whether it's possible for me to apply for a residence visa in KSA without canceling my existing Bahrain visa.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Yes you can hold dual residence visas.   Theoretically they frown on it, practically there is no issue.  I have held dual or even triple residences for the last 15 years that I have been in the GCC.   Right now, I hold Bahrain and Saudi residence, both.
