Dependent Visa and CPR

Hitesh Nama

Hi guys, I recently shifted to Bahrain, with my wife(she is on visit visa rightnow). I wanted to ask, what is the cost of following things here, and who pays for it? Me(employee) or my employer?

1. My CPR

2. My Wife's Dependent Visa

Please guide me about costing and who should pay for these two.

Thankyou 🙂

It is customary for both to be paid for by the employer.  However, some companies don't bear these costs.

Ok thank you for the information. And can you guide me about what is the fees for both individually?

XTang

Go to lmra website and see visa fees. Cpr is nominal cost up to 20 BD.

Ok, thankyou so much.

I just wanted to confirm as my employer told me 25bd for CPR and 90bd for dependent visa, including PRO fees (I think).

Thanks again for helping will check website too ☺ï¸

Does the employer have to consent to spouse's CPR issuance? In case the employer will not cover dependents, can the spouse sponsor them without involvement of the employer.

XTang

CPR is on the basis of residence visas.  They have to agree to sponsor residence visas.  If the visas have been issued then you can do CPR yourself.

@XTang  Thank you. I have a 5 year visa and a paper CPR while my wife has the full CPR.
