Hello everyone!

I'm a former scientist, for the last 10 years I have been trying to find my place in IT. Mainly as ML developer, but trying not to forget about algorithms, data structures and everything else. Now I'm working with large language models and their applications in different scenarios.

My wife, son and I have been living in Yerevan for more than two years. We like to visit interesting places and to share them.

Thank you very much for you kind reply. What are the rules of this place? We have a telegram channel and a web-site where my wife and I are sharing our findings in Yerevan and Armenia. Also we have a tool for beginners to study armenian alphabet and interesting stories about different places, programming and so on. Is it appropriate to mention such resources here? Would we are banned immediately if we posted links? Is there a place to discuss this kind of resources?

Hello everyone!

Thank you for this warm welcome. My name is Anna, and I'm currently in the planning stages of a move to Armenia, hopefully within the next year.

A little about me: I'm a freelance graphic designer from Canada, and I've been captivated by Armenian history and culture for years, both through friends and my own reading. I finally decided to stop just dreaming about visiting and to actually plan for an extended stay to experience daily life, improve my very basic Armenian (I'm starting lessons next month!), and connect with the creative community in Yerevan.

My main project right is researching the practicalities of the move. I'm especially curious about:

The vibe and affordability of different neighborhoods in Yerevan for freelancers.

Any tips for meeting people and building a social circle outside of work.

Must-try foods beyond the wonderful lavash and dolma I've already experienced!

I'm so excited to learn from all of your experiences and to finally make this dream a reality. Thank you for having me in this community!

Best,
