Any pondering about whether I should introduce myself in the Linving in Europe or Living in the Mid East was laid to rest with today's headlines. Hi, I'm Jack and would like to intorduce myself as a green expat in Bursa, Turkey. I just added my blog to this website (). I've been here about 4 months.

Having a great time, traveling, learning, listening, drinking alone alot in my apartment, not because I'm anti-social, but because I have a Turkish girlfriend whose parents keep a watchful eye and when was the last time she spent the night?

Anyway, I was hoping to get connected to all who may be living in Turkey or those who have been here before or those who haven't done either but are interested in the country and the people. If anyone has been to Bursa, I'd love to hear about your experiences!

Is Turkey the Middle East? That'll be a blow to their attempts to join the EU.

Well geographically Turkey is in the middle east isn't it?

It's easier to base a worldwide direcory on geography than on economic/political/social aspects

if i was picky i'd post in both, but i'm not. i iet the politicians decide. i guess i'm not as middle eastern as saudi arabia or as european as the EU... that's the beauty of turkey... it's kind of it's own thing.
