Hi there,

My husband and I are moving to Cardiff for a year. He is transferring to the same company, we're both architects and from South Africa. We're from Pretoria but currently living in Jo Burg. I am struggling to rent a place from this side.  They either want six month's rent ahead etc.

Can anyone help me even if it's just part time renting till we can find an apartment. We are friendly, sociable, and considerate. We are definitely not party animals but like seeing places and socializing. Our budget is 500 pounds per month. We have been renting a nice place in Jo Burg for two years now so are responsible tenants.
