if you only wish to visit the Ukraine you may do from Italy as a visitor for 90 days. if you stay for 90 days you must leave for 180 days before you return (legally). If you wish to stay longer you will need a D Visa and the cost and requirements depend on your Nationality. Not the country you are living in know.
