Hi. I started my job with a 1-year fixed term contract, and got a 1-year work permit in Sweden. After 8 months of employment, my fixed term contract was replaced by a permanent contract, with a salary increase and with same job title and same job responsibilities, as in my fixed term contract. My questions are:

1) did the permanent position need any advertisement?

2) Could this change from fixed-term to permanent contract before the end of the fixed term contract create any issues with migrationsverket?

I will apply for the extension of my current work permit in October before it expires and I want to be cautious not to miss anything.

If anyone else has had similar experience, I would really appreciate hearing your insights!
