Dear friends,
We've been waiting for Spring for so long - let’s welcome it with open arms! On Saturday, April 25 we will
have an expat Subbotnik in Novodevichiy Park at Sportivnaya metro.
If the word is new to you, a Subbotnik is a traditional volunteer clean-up that originated in the USSR! We are
going to give this beautiful venue a spring cleaning and have a really nice time.
The park clean-up will be followed by fun activities for all ages!
Help organize the event or just come and enjoy the day!
The Program:
11:00 – 13:00 Clean-Up
13:00 – 14:00 Activities
Extra Activities:
- Food market (if you and your kids like to cook and want to make homemade lemonade or other tasty
treats, please contact Sasha at abch-95@mail.ru),
- Flea market (if you want to get rid of some old, but still nice things or sell your kids’ crafts, please
contact Andy at amillman@mpcss.org)
- Book exchange (bring us the books you’ve already read and pick up something new!)
- Sports (we’ll have football and Frisbee. If you’d like to organize other games, please contact Tom at
tom@korsamedia.ru)
- Music (we are inviting musicians to come and fill the park with great music! If you play an instrument
or have a band, please contact Kendra at ktwenter@mpcss.org)
- Kids’ entertainment (the park has a playground, and we’ll try to organize some extra activities for kids.
