Why do you want to go to Russia?

I cannot see why why anyone would relocate to Russia, right now. Most youth are looking for a way out and no return - till the demise of mad Putin.

Hello everyone,

I understand you are looking for a job for a better life however, are you aware of what's happening in Russia right now ?

@Bhavna You know Bvana, some of us ( people who are looking for going to Russia ) are pro Putin and we don't have problems with what's happening there.

But to stay fixed on the topic, the main problem of Russia will be visas and finding job.

First, if you are not married, and looking for a "basic non qualified" job, you can forget. There are Kvotas and they are filled by others than you.

Second case : you are married with a russian OR you are qualified ( and earn good money ), then you have a chance. You will need to get 2 millions rouble per month also per year to fit that case.

Let's say you find your dream job at yandex and earn this money. You will have to pass some test ( russian and medical test etc ) find a real adress ( good luck, because usually russian don't rent to foreigner ) but you NEED a real adress fixed to apply for the migration ( buy a house or be registered by your wife are the usually options ).

Now I hope you understand why we are plenty on the internet that we support, but we can't join Russia ( I even learn russian at university for 3 years ).

ps : I don't speak about other options, being sport professionnal, army etc ... Because it's only for few people.

In case someone needs information/ local help with for example accomodation (at least avoid some known scams/ bad landlords/ neighborhoods) then depending on the region I may know someone who able to provide information.

As for travel - depending on from where you plan to go:

• For airplanes from the direction of Europe:

Turkey OR Egypt - UAE

• Land from the direction of Europe:

Poland: avoid neither Kaliningrad, neither Belarus direction not sure they let you. Also probably put into questioning.

Lithuania: unreliable, but towards Kaliningrad region better chances

Best from Azerbaijan - Dagestan crossing:

Mind with the fact that they are Muslim majority - no alcohol, no offering too much to seen clothing, etc...

Chechnya: Groznij fine, no extra care needed - rural: if you go with female family members mind that: either one male better to left with them from the family, or 2 local females in rural parts.

Once you reach Krasnodar Oblast can get anywhere easy-peasy.

I am definitely interested about living arrangements. Apartment search etc…

search on hh.ru or avito for jobs [online or in the region you are attached to with your first resident permit "RVP"]

it would be great to be able to manage at least a phone call with an employer [you can cheat with a vocal translator to understand but you have to know how to say what you want to say]

and about "what is happening here" = life is peaceful , and in comparison france was at war with 11 countries [lybia , mali , afghanistan , sudan ...] and you never ever said "are you aware about what's happening here ?" , and life was peaceful .

in other word it is a non-debate and a false statement .

_and "what is happening in russia ?" = they need 1.000.000 workers , they need 100.000.000 population , (35millions workers for 150millions people) , you have jobs , healthy food [organic per default because there is no Monsanto-ish companies ] , free education [of excellence] , free healthcare [of quality] , well educated intelligent polite people , reformed bank system and administration , bank accounts at 20-22-25% !!!

i mean "come on !!" this is the best opportunity you can have on this planet right now , "perspectives" are uniques ; and you can start from the bottom , not like everywhere else where you need to start with a risky and costly company if you want to be independent , or to be highly qualified to be hired by your homeland's companies overseas .

the west is collapsing , more and more everyday , and not only collapsing but denying it and focusing on futile problems like gender equality or global warming supposely triggered by human activity [like if humans could generate more energy than the sun]

so .... @Bhavna are you aware of what's happening in the world right now ?

russia is the BEST choice :

_job opportunities

_cost of living

_safety and security [even against the biggest dangers , if you see waha mean ,) ]

_health and education

you can try but i garantee you there is no other place that bests russia , and if someone says "but it is cold" just ignore and consider people unaware about the geography of the biggest country of the world does not deserve to know more about russia .

_same for the supposed "mad putin" claims , leave them be , they deserve to stay in their inclusive world

for travels :

_website tutu travel [it is in russian], then as you dont have bank account in rubles you cant pay BUT as you can have the flight number and companies names , you can go directly to their websites and pay from there .

for "more"

_ there is an association "welcome-to-russia.com" led by maria butina secretary of the ministry of internal affairs , they will answer all your questions within 2-4 days

create a bank account

_passport+visa+border certificate+hotel adress [must be an hotel able to "invite" foreign citizens , usually there is no problem but ... i mention it anyway]

you can create a bank account at cberbank in 20 minutes+get a credit card (you choose you pin code)+sim card+they download the app on your phone and explain to you the main functions [if you have a 2nd phone make a video , because it will be in russian] , and then you are free to go

if you dont speak russian , just be polite and everything will be fine .
