I called the embassy a day ago and was asked to come on Monday which is 29th of April... hopefully the visa has been approved 馃檹

Anyone can update how much time Romanian Reunification Spouse visa take.. I have applied.

The law states that the visa needs to be issued in 60days (from the visa interview at the embassy, not since you summited online on evisa). First 45days is reserved for checks performed by National Visa Center in Bucharest and for Immigration Office (IGI). The next 15days is reserved for the embassy for the applicant to go and obtain the result if visa was approved/denied and to ge back the passport.

PM if you need details. My wife got it recently (in her case it was 64days since she had the interview at the embassy). Once the decision for the visa was made, the next day she was asked to go after her passport.

But between the time we applied online on evisa, and she was scheduled for first interview, it was almost 1month wait time.

But it might not happen always for the deadline to be meet. If the embasy was closed due to staff, they will not inform you. It happened in the Philippines between sept 2022 and march 2023, filipino were applying, and didn't know what's happening. Nobody was processing.
