Moving to Portugal as retire

Atapin69

Is there any one from the Tri-State area (NY, NJ, CT) preparing to apply for Portugal retire visa.

I’m in the middle of it, collecting docs and few weeks away from the actual filing the application.

I found lots of misleading and incorrect information here, I would like to compare notes with some who actually going thru the process now.
Thank you,
Ata

I am in the NY metropolitan area and am looking to retire in Portugal with my wife. I want to learn from your experience.

Hi. My husband and I just went thru the process with the Consulate in DC although we live in IL. The process should atill be the same although because of our location, everyihing was done via mail.  Do you have specific questions?
