Hello Everyone I have applied for tech visa through the Portuguese embassy and it's been 63 days , and received no updates,

The embassy said waiting for SEF and I provided all required documents work contract, how long it takes?

These delays are unpleasant and should not happen. SEF will be extinguished and a new agency (AIMA) will be set up in October, and there have been staff strikes because of this. I don't know if that is the reason for these delays. I feel sorry that these internal problems cause so much damage to expats.

Thanks guys for the useful replys, the embassy them self informed me that the visa will take up to 60 days and might be extended to 90 ,some of my colleagues got it in 40 to 50 days , and they are not giving me the residency directly they are giving me a visa for months with an appointment with SEF to apply for the residency.
