Delay in MVV Sticker Processing After IND Approval

Amitkumar Singh

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for some guidance regarding my current visa situation. I initially had an unused ICT visa, but after receiving a new offer, I applied for a Highly Skilled Migrant (HSM) visa instead. My IND application was approved, and I scheduled an appointment for the MVV sticker on March 21, 2025.

At the time of the appointment, I was informed that processing would take approximately 15 days. However, I still haven’t received my passport. I’ve tried reaching out to the Embassy via email but haven’t received any response. I also contacted the NetherlandsWorldwide Contact Center, and they mentioned they would send a signal to the Embassy, but there has been no update so far.

Has anyone experienced a similar delay or can suggest what steps I should take next?

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

It could well be that there is a genuine reason for the delay.  There is contact information on the IND website; this will take you straight to it, you can phone them and ask.  It includes a section on dealing with a late decision.  You should be aware that Dutch law gives them 90 days to respond to visa applications.

I hope this helps.

Dear Amit I am facing the same issue now. After nearly one month from appointment, I have not got my passport. Can you please confirm your visa status now.

thank you

I heard from other people the IND had dealt with technical issues and it seems they solved it.

Keep fingers crossed 🤞🏻, soon you'll get your MVV sticker.

Can you please confirm whom you are addressing? Is it the main Publisher Amit or me or to all? It will be a great help.
