As a turkish, am I welcome?:)

derinname

Hi there,
I have read almost all forums available about Montenegro. What I understand, Montenegrin people are mostly friendly to expats.I would like to settle in Bar that I find more cosmopolitan than other cities.Do you think am I welcome there despite our historical bad reputation?

Montenegro

The Montenegrin people are very open-minded and the country is very multi-cultural.
If you go south of Petrovac, you will see more people with Albanian origins and muslim religion, but in any case, as I said, it is a very multi-cultural and welcoming country.

I think you shouldn't worry about historical relationships between Montenegro and Turkey (still this is twenty-first century) but the biggest problem for you would be finding a job here(unless you think of running your own business). And Bar is very good choice in my opinion.
