When settling in Moldova, one of the priorities is to be able to make phone calls.

Hi Maximilien,

usually all rent apartments are equipped with a landline, there is no need for installation. However, mobile phones and plans are cheap here. Moreover, you can get 4G internet connection for about 15 EUR per month, that will suffice browsing and calling abroad using some cheap VoIP providers.

There are three mobile operators:
1) Orange -
2) Moldcell-
3) Unite -
