Shipping companies from Scotland

Are there any Scots on here who have used a shipping service ? And companies you recommend?
We are trying to weigh up prices of shipping couches/TV etc or buying new when we get to malta.
Any advice appreciated

I was given this info today you may want to look into it It seems very cost effective compared to other quotes

If you are intending renting a house when you get here bear in mind that the vast majority of properties are let fully furnished and you probably will not have room for more bulky furniture.
I would be tempted to bring personal items and things like TV's and high value items.
If you are thinking of buying here then I would think again, certainly rent till you are sure you want to stay as houses are overpriced, poorly built and very difficult to sell if you change your mind!

Hi Ray, thank you for your advice. We actually already have a property over there, and will be seeing how we like living there for a year. Then decide whether to sell up or not.
