Recommendations of Gozo Hotels

Sam4321

We're hoping to spend a weekend exploring Gozo for my husband's 40th birthday, so we'd like a really nice hotel with a family friendly pool if possible.  Can anybody living there give a recommendation?

We did something similar last year and stayed at the Kempinski.  However have just returned from Gozo having stayed in a duplex apartment at Fort Chambray - would highly recommend this.

I've just been looking at the Kempinski.  I'm leaving it a bit late because his birthday is late next month so any early booking discounts won't apply.  The price really shoots up when you leave it late.

How did you go about booking the one in Fort Chambray?

I went last month via Trip Advisor.

Twice we've been to Gozo now and we much preferred our stay in Fort Chambray than the Kempinski - our 5 year old loved it.

We're talking to Mario who manages a number of property's in Fort Chambray to rent a place in June/July for 10 nights - he seems very professional and genuine - his contact details

Hope is of some help.

Have you thought about farmhouses? Most have a minimum stay of 3 nights but we managed to book one for just two nights (middle of the week though) and they even gave us some discount. They usually have pools but you'll have to cook your own breakfast :)

Thanks!  I think I'm going to have difficulty booking anything other than a hotel with it only being one or two nights.
