Lisetta

Hi there,

Does anyone know where I can buy American grocery items. I know there's a place, I'm just not sure where and what the name is. Please advise. Thanks!

Hi, if you go the MOSCOVA metro stop, at largo la Foppa right where where via alessandro volta begins you'll find an enormous international grocery store that sells all kinds of products including may american food that you can't find at any supermarket.

Lisetta

Thanks for the info. Would you know if this is SUPERPOLO? Just curious as there is another location closer to me.

There is a Cathay near moscova as well, I've heard it's asian food. Maybe that's a start in the right direction.

Lisetta

Yes, I was just at Kathay, but it's mostly Asian foods. Superpolo has a better selection of International food items. Thanks for the info!

SuperPolo is really your best bet. There are 2 or three of them in Milan.... (Though the price of a can of Betty Crocker frosting will set you back a good deal) :-P

Lisetta

SuperPolo does have the best selections compared to other International stores. I agree with the prices and thus I patronize the Italian groceries. Thankfully, I can make my own frosting!
