Does any one know reputable realtors in Sicily,  looking to buy preferably on coast, thanks

Sicily is big.  Where exactly?

Modicasa

  1. What is your nationality - are you allowed to buy property in ITaly
  2. What visa would you use to stay in Italy
  3. Where do you think you would like to move? And for what reasons?

    4 . Visit, drive around and decide on an area, and only then zone in to actually looking for a house.

I would like a coastal area as high altitudes affect my ears, thank you for replying

USA, YES I can buy a property

my understanding is that once you buy you can obtain a residency visa

coastal areas in Sicily or any other location,

I am older no longer working and would like to make the move next year

I would like to see what’s available and then make a trip since they allow you 90 days without a visa, thanks for your questions

A visa is not automatic if you buy a house. You will still need to qualify for a visa.  Sicily has alot of coast.  Visit and drive round the island and see what seems 'like you' and where you feel at home.

Can you recommend a real estate agency in Sicily?

mondocanemsr

@Modicasa

From what I see online I think the East coast and the North would be my preference. Also I should probably rent while looking around rather than book a hotel room since no visa is required for 90 days.

Also I found a property in Calabria but it’s new construction and requires floors and fixtures the problem being not knowing what that would cost otherwise it sounded good.

For the visa I’ll probably retain the firm listed on this site. Thank you for replying to my posts.
