Hi all,

We are in Abruzzo viewing properties. We are interested in two but would like to have them inspected by a geometer or surveyor before we put an offer in. One seems very structurally sound, but another has a聽 few very large cracks in, which we've been told is non-structural, but they're big and are on every floor.

Our estate agents can provide a geometer/surveyor but from all the guidance we've looked at, it's recommended to find someone independently, who also speaks English, to avoid any language barrier issues (we speak a little Italian, but are learning!).

Does anyone have any trusted recommendations? We would really appreciate any help! We had one quote but it was 1000 euros for each house, and we hoped to pay a little less if possible.

Hi Jessica, we had a very good experience with Signore geom. Pierpaolo Miserere, it was quiet a while ago- 2 years but the fee was pretty decent- 370 EUR for a 40k house. His email below,
