Hi all,

is it difficult for expats to open a bank account in Gibraltar ?

Which documents are required to open a bank account in Gibraltar ?

How long does it take to open it ?

Is there any restriction for expats regarding the services (loans for instance)聽 ?

Which bank would you recommend ?

Hi, I have just opened an account with natwest and it was really easy. You need to provide your work contract, your tax code details and passport. Not sure about restrictions as i just wanted a basic account with atm card, but i think as long as you can prove you are working i can't see there being any problems.

since I have to open a bank account in Gib in the next days do you have any ideas about the annual fees? How much do you pay to transfer money to another bank account?
