Student Life in Liverpool: How's the Social Scene at Prospect Point?

Johndefrakes

Hello future classmates! I'm moving to Prospect Point and I'm curious about the social life. What's it like there? I've heard there are communal areas with TVs and board games - are these popular hangout spots? Also, how easy is it to meet people? Are there any events organized? And what about the nightlife in the area? Any good bars or clubs nearby? Really trying to get a feel for student life in Liverpool!

Unless someone here has stayed there, you will probably find more information online. You could also contact them to ask about the facilities there and social scene. Obviously in this day and age there will be a social scene there. I stayed at a student hostel in London a few years ago, actually 48 years ago, and it was great fun. Apart from where we stayed which seems quite similar to Prospect Point, most of us hung out closer to the university (about a mile away) where we regularly got pissed, picked up female students, saw live bands on the main campus and went to places in the city like to see live bands (Zappa, AC/DC, Budgie, Argent, Supertramp and so on), ice skating, custom car shows and hanging out in the West End. So I think the student digs will have a social scene, but I always considered them as a place to sleep, study, get laid etc and a base from which we could all head to the university and into the city to do other stuff.

Honestly, I'm not sure why you are asking the question. Just go there, have fun and enjoy the place. It;s highly unlikely that it's going to be a dead place.
