Waiting list process for housing

Txlarun

I am new to DK & just moved into an apartment, lease till Jul2018.

I would again start looking for permanent unfurnished apartment from April or May. There are couple of good housing group very near to office. I want to know more about waitlist process for cooperative housing.

I am thinking of enrolling at for a yearly fee & apply for few waitlisting.

Is it worth it to enrol for waitlist process for a 7 month period ?

The waiting lists vary a lot, normally from a waiting time of 1 - 3 years and up. Some housing associations have so long waiting lists (30+ years) why it is not possible to sign up anylonger.

How long the waiting time is depends on the area, and how new the apartments are (new: expensive). In some ghetto areas the waiting list may be very short for employees as they want to break up the social disadvantaged resident group.

As you see, it isn't possible to advise you in general, but you are welcome to deepen your inquiry on the open forum here or send me a PM.

Maybe, the only possibility will be a new apartment on the private market.
