Be aware of new drop-off and pick-up rules at Paphos. The road in front of the terminal is for taxis only now. Supposed to use taxi parking聽 area for that. Took wife to Paphos airport for drop off and quard would not let us go to taxi parking area and directed us to paid parking. If you drop-off聽 or pick-up quickly you won't be charged for parking. I was there for 12 minutes and had to pay 1 euro.

We were there 2 weeks ago and you can drop off for free at the taxi parking area

There is a sign on the ticket machine stating that the first 10 minutes are free.聽 If you are under 10 minutes, you don鈥檛 need to go to the machine. The number plate recognition opens the barrier as you exit the car park.聽 if you are picking up, park somewhere on the access road and only drive into the car park when your passenger calls you to say they are out.
