This might sound a bit random, but I鈥檒l leave a comment anyway I鈥檝e created an app called [link moderated] that shows real-time buses and routes across Cyprus. It can help you see where the buses are, which stops are nearby, and how to get from Larnaca Airport to Nicosia (or anywhere else).

Well done and I am sure really good for both tourists and locals who don't drive. Is it integrated with Google maps so walking instructions to the correct bus stop for the bus needed? I wrote a traffic app in the UK for android that used bing maps originally and then Google and the api's were really good. Good luck with the app

Thank you so much for your interest 鈥� it really means a lot to me. I鈥檝e decided to take a different path and build everything myself from the ground up. The app (Urbaneel) is completely free to use, and I鈥檓 not ready to pay for services like Google or Bing. That鈥檚 why I鈥檓 working on implementing everything independently. It鈥檚 a very exciting technical challenge that will give the app great flexibility 鈥� for example, it will allow planning complex routes that include rented bikes or scooters.

Very useful in tracking bus location - am using iOS 18.4.1

Can currently see map with bus numbers but will be extremely useful as you develop the application 馃憤

I live in a village and travel all over Cyprus by bus and locally as it鈥檚聽 not worth the hassle of finding parking and drinking the odd glass of wine and driving

Buses run evey 40 minutes and local hubs give good intercity connections and are generally on time and the local serivces end at 3 am in the tourist season so a pretty good service and cheaper than taxis
