Does anyone know of a way to shop with Amazon for BG?

If you have an account with Amazon simply visit Amazon.de. They deliver to Bulgaria.
Good luck!

You can order from some places direct on the German and Spanish versions but delivery can take a while.

It's a lot easier to use a transport service like ggbg.bg or Gabieli, you have things delivered to their offices in Germany, Ireland etc and they them bring it over to Bulgaria.

I've used Gabieli many times with no issues, you just pay a small fee for transportation.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Over the years I've bought a ton of stuff from Amazon, so I'm a fan. We still have an Amazon Prime membership too (currently in Spain, as we have an apartment near Alicante).

Amazon.co.uk (or Ebay.co.uk) are definitely off the list now because of the post-Brexit customs/duty issue. I bought one item on Ebay only, as I couldn't find the thinggy (used car part) over here.

If I really want Amazon, I still use Amazon.de or Amazon.es. Usually (but not always) it gets shipped by courier, so it's not so inconvenient. However, first, I try to find what I want locally.

My first port of call here is Emag.bg which I've used a lot. Has plenty of items in multiple categories, so they usually have what I want. Maybe not as informative or as competitive as Amazon (you can use that for research/info instead), but very convenient. Most things come by courier (Speedy/Econt) within a couple of days.

More generally, the Bulgarian internet scene is pretty well developed these days. Ikea.bg and jysk.bg work well, and I've ordered most of my furniture from them. Praktiker.bg is also good, so any DIY tools/materials come from here. The electronics shops (technopolis and technomarket) also have good sites... but I find Emag is about the same price, so it's easier to keep using them. Epay.bg also great for paying all my bills. You need Google Chrome or another browser with auto-translation, but otherwise it's straightforward.

Thanks for the detailed information, much appreciated.

Amazon.de is usually the best option for Bulgaria. If you set your delivery address to a Bulgarian one (top left corner on the site), it will automatically filter the listings and show you which items can actually be shipped here. Makes the browsing a lot easier and saves time compared to checking each item individually.

I also use Amazon.de - the site does not have the US variety but it is good enough. Fast free shipping without Prime if you spend more than 49 euros ;  my wife and I  usually make a list of items and place a big order every few months and we  always take advantage of the free shipping. Delivery takes about one week. Ekont delivers Amazon packages in Bulgaria. They are very good. I do not care about Speedy. Ekont are good also for ordering on Emag.bg(  if you do not find anything on Emag- most likely it  will be available on Amazon.)  We also use Ozone.bg, so far without problems; very fast shipping.
