you are right as alofoholic & non halal items are not widely consumed here.
This however doesn't mean it's a non import item....just not easy to handle approvals.
And a very niche market.

Honey, on the other hand is definitely extremely popoular here.

I still remember some exquisite flavored honey varieties,
I had the privilege of getting my hands on some...
tasted back in Smolyan, on my trip two months ago.

So yeah ! It's doable.

I am not sure if I can achieve my personal target of creating 50 jobs in BG, though.

Nuts, specially hazelnut, walnuts and chestnuts, BG is producing country for those nuts, also wide range of dry fruits.
