Single Permit Processing in 2022
I have work permit waiting for the RP and there is a third company which is dealing with it. I know it’s not a long time comparing to the all other applicants. But it’s a long time in the normal life. I mean, what’s bothering me is the system. We shouldn’t accept the idea of waiting for 4 months to start a job as a normal. At least it’s my opinion, and after i get there, I will do whatever I can. Because nobody shouldn’t get these things through. Maybe I can help the future applicants by doing this. So if there is anyone who can suggest something for me I am all ears 🤗

Hello all,
Has anyone who applied for the single permit on the 30th of June received their permit yet ? (Flanders region)
@vishnuraj9756
My work permit approved on June 24 and I am still waiting for the Annex 46.
@milanjain15
No update on the residence permit yet..
@td2022 and @milanjain15,
I have a similar timeline to yours, although for the Brussels region. We shouldn't expect the RP/Annex 46 this month or even next. Those that have received/are receiving their Annex 46 this month are those that received their WP in June or July, mostly June. Just look at the data and timelines reported here.
We received our WP (not up to) 3 weeks ago. There's still at least 9-10 weeks of waiting before we can start anticipating the RP/Annex 46.
Essentially, try to manage (your) expectations and be patient. It's no secret that this is a long and frustrating process, but asking every day/week for updates on the RP/Annex 46, when enough time hasn't passed is kinda pointless.
@Meenakshi Malhotra
I applied on the 4th of August and my application status is as follows
No reply email: 4th August
WP waiting
RP waiting
Hello!
My employer applied for the single permit application on 8th August in Flanders region. I’m waiting for the work permit (WP) and residence permit (RP).
I provided a French address and the documents such as medical certificate and police certificate while my stay in France after studies. Now, my French residence permit is about to expire (20th October) before getting the WP and RP. So I have to go back to my home country and wait for the decision.
My questions are
- What shall I do when my country of residence changes during processing the application? (My employer used the French address, but I have to move to my home country during the process.)
- What shall I do if the address in single permit application and the one in the visa application are different?
- Any impacts on my application decision?
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance!
