Hey Danni, we are at the same situation , I joined my wife who she is EU National libing in belgium , and she decided she doesnt want me anymore as soon as she got pregnant , I was kicked from the house and I had to change my adress .. luckily I do have stable job ..

This happened in 2023 .. now its been more than a year I am still working and no one from foreign affairs contacted me regarding my F Card

As far as I knew , you can renew your residence once its expires K Card instead of F card as a Parent of a Minor who has EU Nationality (Your Children)

Either you have custody or right yo visit.. (You need to have work + Health insurance)

My F card will expire in 2027, I really hope someone passed by the same situation can also share his/her experience in the comments..

i have been undergoing domestic violence over a yrs in her hands.

im thinking of pressing charges as well.

im currently looking for apartment to rent. i live in belgium.

1 year since the incident happened .. she called the police and said I hit her.. while she is the one abusing me ..

1 year we are living apart , I couldn't live in a Toxic relationship no more .. especially for my daughter .. I dont want her to grow up in thos environment..

So one year since I left the house and changed my adress .. and one year later she filed for divorce and we just got divorced ..

If you have children , you can apply for Card K once your F Card is expired ..
