Single permit - Application documents

mohanealabib

Hello everyone,

I just signed an employment contract with a belgian employer in the Flemish region.

The employer consulted the service of experts international employment to handle my single permit process after their summer closure.

They asked me to prepare all the required documents for when they are available they start the process immediately to cut down on the processing time.

I looked online and found all sorts of documents needed so i am confused...

Documents include:

1. Passport.

2. Criminal record in country of residence and country of origin.

3. Employment contract.

4. Employer's id card.

5. Employee's id card in the country of residence

6. CV.

7. Proof of medical insurance or a letter of commitment.

8. Medical certificate.

9. Proof of means for living.

10. Proof of previous employment.

11. Language proficiency.

12. High education degrees.

13. Processing fee.

Please guide as to what is needed in these documents as i find it illogical that all of these documents are needed for the process. I can start with the crucial ones and move to the more trivial ones if asked for.

Your input is highly appreciated in advance.

Kind regards,

@mohanealabib

hello

I can share my case, For starting single permit procedure I was required to provide:

  • copy of international passport
  • medical certificate (from clinic authorized by Belgium embassy)
  • certificate of good conduct and morals with apostille
  • employment contract, signed by both side
  • diploma from the university

But I'm still in a "waiting regime", no update since application submitted in May, so I am not sure that this package will be fine for the authorities, but my employer do it not in a first time, so I rely on it

.

Also I'd recommend you to read this topic regarding single permit timeline etc: /forum/viewtopic.php?id=968900

@OlTr I residen in Singapore (last 2 yrs) and India (first two years). Now intend to apply from India. In this case, do I need to get PCC from both the countries or only from India ll do?

i Intend to move as a family. Is single permit application only for employee (myself) or apply as a family together (my spouse and daughter)?
