Music is said to be a universal language. Indeed it helps to discover and better understand the culture of a country.

What are the most popular music genres in Honduras? How about traditional music and instruments?

Who are the local artists you would recommend?

Where can you listen to them: are there any concerts or music festival held regularly?

I have visited Roatan many times over 40 years. Soon I will be moving to Roatan and starting a live music venue and recording studio hopefully to attract local and not so local musicians to that entertainnment-starved corner. Traditionally Reggea and Shag is the island flavor. I would imagine Traditional Native Indian and Spanish styles would be played in the rural areas mainland with modern Spanish Dance in the cities.
