Hey guys my wife and I have been in La Ceiba Beach Club since December. As long as you visit the Canadian consulate and have your documents verified, health certificate, background check, proof of investment here in Honduras, the process is quite simple and nowhere near as crazy as some people make it sound. Our situation is a little different as we have some local friends that have helped us through the application process. The cost is set by the lawyer you choose and I would suggest you follow Island Ed's selection of an attorney. He is very well respected throughout the legal communities in Honduras. Good luck and I hope to see another Canadian family taking the plunge and coming to enjoy the beautiful people, climate, food and everything else this country has to offer! Buena suerte!
