Expat blog gatherings in Guatemala

Julien

Hi all!

What about meeting the other Guatemala ½ûÂþÌìÌà members in real life? Organizing an ½ûÂþÌìÌà meet up would be an excellent way to know them! :)

An ½ûÂþÌìÌà meet up can be a diner gathering, having coffee, a bring and share in a nice place, a cultural or sports activity, etc. There are plenty of possibilities: just imagine a pleasant way to meet new people and old friends from ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ.

Feel free to organize ½ûÂþÌìÌà get-togethers in Guatemala: you would meet the other members in a friendly atmosphere and have a good time together!

Of course, we could offer some help to organize your meet up and to inform the community.

So, whoÂ’s in? Do not hesitate to start a new thread to suggest an ½ûÂþÌìÌà gathering in Guatemala. ;)

Best,

Julien

Sounds like fun. Guatemala is a big country though, so I vote for Antigua. Its Guatemala's Disneyland, so how perfect for an outing?
I can suggest a couple of modestly priced restaurants. La Pena del Sol Latino is one, Weiners is another. Somewhere safe and in daylight.

We have had a expat gathering every Thursday morning at 08:30 in the Cafe Condessa for the past 10 years. Usually 15 to 25 people come to share experiences and information. Everyone is welcome and we are not selling anything.

Looks like this is already organized -- I'll be looking forward to meeting up when I arrive, which is asap! :)
