Hi! I鈥檓 new to the Dominican Republic and was wondering if anyone knows of a good hair salon or stylist in Santo Domingo that speaks English? I have highlights and need my roots colored so it gets tricky - even more so with language differences. Thank you!

I鈥檓 from New York and while I speak Spanish finding a good, honest and reliable hair salon can be some what difficult. If you are looking for honest strictly basic service the Salon Salome in zona colonia is phenomenal. While I can鈥檛 vouch for ha铆r color personally, I鈥檝e seen some of their clients and they look great. Basic hair wash and dry service is great, single/double process color appear good, not sure about more technical process.

I have used a very specific person in聽 Plaza Central,聽 Jordy -聽 his聽 whatsapp and phone聽 1-809-990-4090聽 He did the hair in my聽 photo here.

The issue is he is very very busy.聽 And some days they do not work by appointment.

I've used Penelope at Bella c铆ao salon. She's Venezuelan but speaks English perfectly. They go by appointment which I loved! Can't report on colour but you can check out their work on Instagram bellaciaord. Contact :809 475 4433
