New members of the Barbados forum, introduce yourselves here - 2021

Julien

Hi all,

Newbie on the Barbados forum? Don't know how to start?

This thread is for you ;)

We invite you to introduce yourself on this topic, to share with us your expat story if you are already living in the country,
or to tell us more on your expat projects in Barbados if you are planning to move there.

It will enable us to help you better but above all to wish you a warm welcome.

Welcome on board!

Whatleys on the move

Good morning from the south coast of the UK.
We joined this forum as my husband accepted a job in South America and I’d like to be nearer than Dorset for his days off.
Two teens would come with me, other kids are grown and have left home.

However the job seems a bit vague now 🙄.
He’s a British Army trained vehicle mechanic (also air conditioning and refrigeration engineer) and I’m a nurse and complementary therapist.
We are considering retiring somewhere as beautiful as Barbados, but have many years of work in us still if the jobs are available.

Anyway, have a fab day one and all.
Will read and post with great interest,
Helen, Sean and kids x

Hi my name is Chris,  I am from the US.
I have been living in Barbados for several years.
I would really love to meet new people from the states or Canada.

I am a quiet, laid back person.  Love hiking, exploring, going to the beach.
Basically, anything which pertains to the outdoors.

Connecting with someone, male or female from the US, is very important to me.
The shared common life cannot be compared to the life here.

If you are over the ago of 40 that would be awesome.
