This is a problem? As with bad drivers, they kill themselves and, over time, reduce the problem.

In both of those examples the smoker and driver are potentially hurting other people too. 

It was always a stretch to say second hand cigarette smoke would kill other people but of course it's not good for you, and if vaping isn't then neither is breathing that second hand.  Regularly smoking either around your kids is a different story.

One interesting point from that the article made is that with routine exposure movie fog is probably bad for you (common to e cigarettes).  They don't use it that much in movies but it reminded me of going to a Universal recently.  For a few visits a year there is no way there could be a side effect but for someone working there for a long time maybe.

The article concluded that the things that aren't known now are the real problem, indications that under some conditions some elements may be toxic over time, but how much isn't yet known.  In America even in the 50s and 60s they kept saying cigarette smoking was no problem (or they even said it was healthy, before that), but people must have already been dying of lung cancer by then.

So hard to worry about second hand smoke with cars and motos galore. And then there's those poor country folk next to the power station suffering for your current computer use as you read this.

   What interests me about ecigs is they eliminate the carcinagens that come from all burning matter and directly cause cancer. I'd like to see less of these in the world and in my body and have ridden bicycles most of my life, always use the elevator, etc.. To complain about second hand smoke and drive and/or use power is a contradiction. I promise I won't complain about your emissions if you don't complain about my smoking.

   I found cheap ecigs in Cambo for $15 at the central market, but no nicotine, only juice. The same sold in Bui Vien for about 6 times as much actually. Still interested, but just seems such a hassle and a bit expensive compared to Viet cigs. Nothing near where I live.
